Professional Course in Applied AI (with Specialization)
The Professional Course in Applied AI (with Specialization) is a 9-month program designed to build advanced, practical capabilities in generative AI, automation, data, AI agents, knowledge assistants, AI product management, governance, and implementation.
Learners progress from AI foundations, prompting, research, Excel, Power Query, Power BI, DAX, and multimodal AI to n8n automation, AI agents, RAG, APIs, CRM automation, Airtable, Glide, SQL, Python, and production-grade AI workflows.
The course also develops professional capabilities in AI governance, compliance, model evaluation, observability, change management, consulting, client implementation, and adoption. Learners work with practical business processes and build solutions that can be deployed, measured, documented, and handed over.
The final stage includes a full-time residency or paid client project and a specialization track in Education, BFSI Operations, Retail and D2C Growth, Media and Creative Production, or AI Governance and Assurance, followed by a public case study, teardown or talk and a panel defence before external industry assessors.

- Change management, stakeholder training, adoption dashboards, consulting, proposals, and client reporting
- Specialized application of AI through a residency or paid client project
Course Structure
Month 1
- Generative AI foundations: models, tokens, context, hallucination, the AI ecosystem
- Prompt, context and instruction design; failure analysis; reusable playbooks
- AI research and knowledge work: cross-verification; hallucination detection
- Data foundations: Excel, Power Query, clean data structures
- Business intelligence: Power BI data models, DAX basics, interactive dashboards
- Data analysis with AI: segmentation, outliers, correlation versus causation, data storytelling
- Multimodal AI and content production: text, image, presentation, audio, video
Month 2
- Functional AI labs: marketing, sales, HR, finance, operations, customer service
- No-code automation build in n8n: triggers, branches, variables, webhooks, error handling, logging, human approval
- AI agents build: goals, tools, memory, planning, guardrails, evaluation
- Knowledge-grounded assistants: RAG in plain language, document sets, retrieval, citations, access control, hallucination reduction
- AI governance and evaluation: DPDP Act 2023, consent, IP, bias, deepfakes; evaluation rubrics; human-in-the-loop design
- Capstone build with a named real client
Month 3
- n8n at depth: sub-workflows, error handling, retries, rate limits, queues, logging, versioning
- JSON, webhooks and API literacy for non-programmers
- WhatsApp Business API: template approval, opt-in compliance, broadcast rules, chatbot handoff
- CRM automation in Zoho: lead scoring, routing, SLA alerts, pipeline hygiene
- Airtable as an operational backend: relational design, views, permissions, automations
- Capstone measurement, documentation, demonstration; portfolio and placement sprint
Month 4
- Production-grade knowledge assistants: chunking, retrieval quality, citation grounding, refresh cycles
- Evaluation harnesses: answer accuracy scoring, refusal behaviour, red-teaming your own assistant
- Conversation design: intents, flows, tone, fallbacks, escalation, multilingual handling in Hindi and Marathi
- Building a user-facing app or portal in Glide with authentication and permissions
- SQL for questions, not engineering: querying a live business dataset
- Experimentation: A/B tests, cohort reading, attribution caveats
- Agentic workflows: task decomposition, tool use, guardrails, cost and latency awareness
- AI product management: problem framing, requirement documents, user research, adoption metrics
- Vendor evaluation, buy-versus-build, unit economics of AI, token and seat cost modelling, procurement basics
Month 5
- Discovery > process map > build > user training > measurement > handover documentation
- Governance pack: risk register, data-flow diagram, consent basis, approval checkpoints, incident playbook
- Employability sprint: portfolio site, three case studies, mock interviews, salary negotiation
Month 6
- Python strictly for automation: scripts, data handling, API calls, scheduled jobs
- Version control, environments, prompt and configuration management
- Model APIs directly: parameters, structured outputs, function calling, cost control
- Data hygiene: sources, pipelines, refresh, quality tests
Month 7
- Retrieval done properly: hybrid search, metadata filters, re-ranking, evaluation datasets
- Shipping an internal tool with authentication, permissions and logging
- Model selection and benchmarking: fine-tuning versus prompting versus retrieval
- Observability: human feedback loops, drift and regression checks
Month 8
- India compliance in depth: DPDP Act 2023 and rules, consent managers, data-principal rights, sectoral rules for education and BFSI, IT Act, IP and licensing
